Obama Worship Run Amok

Why Team Obama insists on sending out these cult-like emails is beyond me, only the most devout of Obamabots are going to be swayed by them, everyone else is left shaking their head.

A few weeks ago, I sat down to dinner with the President and three other supporters. I was one of the winners of Dinner with Barack!
The truth is, I almost didn’t enter.

It wasn’t because I’m not a huge supporter of President Obama, of course — it’s just that when I got the email asking me if I wanted to enter for the chance to join him for dinner, I never thought I’d win.

A couple weeks later, I remembered that email and thought, “Hey, why not — it’s going to a great cause anyway,” and I made a donation to be automatically entered. I never dreamed that I would actually be picked.

I was, though — and you could be, too.

When a few staffers from the President’s campaign called me up to let me know I’d won, I think the first thing I said was, “Are you sure?” I just couldn’t believe it.

Several weeks later, I found myself sitting in the seat directly to the left of President Barack Obama, eating dinner with him.

So let me tell you what no one told me: This is real — and you really could win.
